With the change of season, I found that I am in quite a mood.... I didn't realize it until the other day but I'm in a bit of a snit and I can't figure out why.
I just know that sometimes there is some music I like to hear and sometimes I don't like it. It's not really characterized by genre either. Because the variety of music I listen to spans from way over here to way beyond the horizon. Not much (c)rap or hiphop and only a little country but just about everything else -- pop. rock - hard, soft, metal (but not death metal), grunge, classical, instrumental, show tunes, easy listening, band music like Herb Alpert or Glenn Miller Band, 70s, 80s, 90s... I think you get the picture. But lately what I can't seem to stand listening to is women's voices. My ear and my head just doesn't seem to tolerate it right now -- and I've been wanting to hear stuff like Pablo Cruise, 10 cc, Little River Band, George Michael, Michael Bolton -- soft, romantic stuff sung to me not stuff blared at my ears until they want to bleed. If a woman is singing on the radio, I'll flip to one of the other 9 channels. (Although I do let the little one listen to her Miley Cyrus CD while we're running errands.)
What is up with that?
